Sensory-motor experiences like climbing, balancing, scooping, threading, and cutting refine both gross and fine motor control. Dramatic play expands cognition and flexibility, while educators coach emotional literacy, simple regulation tools, and executive functions such as attention, working memory, and impulse control through consistent routines and visual cues. Early math and science emerge in sorting, classifying, measuring, patterning, and simple inquiry, integrated with books, music, movement, and outdoor play.
