Our Programs

At NINI Early Learning, we offer three age-aligned programs designed to honour each child’s stage of development while exceeding licensing requirements. Program placement is based on both age and developmental readiness, and educators partner closely with families to ensure smooth transitions when a child is ready for the next step.

NINI Baby

NINI Baby

0–18 months

Our infant program centres on responsive caregiving and secure attachment. Educators use rich serve-and-return interactions to nurture early communication, social connection, and self-regulation. Daily experiences include sensory-motor exploration such as tummy time, grasping, reaching, and cause-and-effect play. Songs and rhymes support language growth, while calm routines build predictability and trust.

Care moments such as feeding, diapering, and settling to sleep are treated as opportunities for relationship-based learning with narrated language and gentle co-regulation. The environment is designed for safe floor play, emerging gross and fine-motor milestones, and early exploration through repetition, sensory discovery, and responsive interaction. Individual sleep and feeding plans are created with families, and outdoor time is offered as weather allows. Educators document learning across the nine domains of learning and developmental continuum of 36 skills and 73 sub-skills in our family communication platform, making progress visible and next steps intentional.

NINI Toddler

NINI Toddler

18–36 months

Toddlers thrive on autonomy and confidence, which we foster through short, hands-on invitations that build self-help skills such as feeding, dressing, tidying, and early toileting readiness in partnership with families. Language accelerates at this stage, and we model functional phrases, expand vocabulary in play, and support early conversations and two-step directions.

Sensory-motor experiences like climbing, balancing, scooping, threading, and cutting refine both gross and fine motor control. Dramatic play expands cognition and flexibility, while educators coach emotional literacy, simple regulation tools, and executive functions such as attention, working memory, and impulse control through consistent routines and visual cues. Early math and science emerge in sorting, classifying, measuring, patterning, and simple inquiry, integrated with books, music, movement, and outdoor play. Documentation is linked to the curriculum’s developmental continuum, and progress is shared with families through our family communication platform.

NINI Pre-K

NINI Pre-K

3–5 years

Our Pre-K program prepares children with the skills, confidence, and independence needed for kindergarten and beyond. Emergent literacy is developed through rhyming, syllables, initial sounds, storytelling, and early writing. Print awareness and name recognition are introduced alongside narrative skills through storytelling and bookmaking.

Mathematics skills grow through number sense, one-to-one correspondence, subitizing, spatial reasoning, measurement, and patterning, all embedded in real-world play. STEM provocations follow an inquiry cycle of wonder, investigate, represent, and share, often outdoors, where children test ideas and document findings.

Social-emotional growth is a central focus, with educators guiding perspective-taking, cooperation, and conflict resolution, alongside executive function skills such as planning, flexible thinking, and sustained attention. Fine-motor strength for writing and self-help routines, like managing belongings and independent snack/lunch times, support a confident transition to kindergarten. Educators align experiences to the curriculum’s Benchmarks 1–8, share evidence in our family communication platform, and partner with families to set meaningful goals.
