About the Founder of NINI Early Learning

  • Dr. Behnaz Nikjou, PhD

  • Licensed Infant Toddler Educator & Former Physician

Dr. Behnaz Nikjou brings a unique blend of medical expertise, public health leadership, and early childhood education experience to her role as Founder and Director of NINI Early Learning.

Her career began in medicine, where she practiced as a physician for 17 years and served as Head of the Prevention and Control of Diseases Unit in Tehran. In that role, she directed national public health programs, including vaccination campaigns and disease prevention initiatives, and contributed to humanitarian efforts as a member of the Iranian Red Crescent.

After immigrating to Canada, Dr. Nikjou transitioned her lifelong commitment to children and families into the field of early education. She became a licensed Infant Toddler Educator and, in 2019, established A Plus Daycare in West Vancouver. Under her leadership, the centre built a strong reputation for personalized care, trusted educators, and high-quality programs that nurtured children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

With the launch of NINI Early Learning, Dr. Nikjou has combined her deep knowledge of child health and development with modern neuroscience and best practices in education. Her vision is to create a premium learning environment where children grow in confidence, creativity, and independence, and where families are supported as essential partners in the educational journey.
